We the students of room 207, in order to form a more perfect classroom, establish justice, establish fun, insure student safety, and secure the knowledge of freedom to ourselves, do establish this constitution for the United classroom of 207.
Article I: The Legislative Branch
There shall be 6 people to make the rules of this classroom. He/She will be elected by the kids from the row in which he/she sits. Legislators shall serve a term of 1 month. In order to serve in the legislature, the person must be 13 years old, Attended A.E. Burdick for at least 1 year, & have at least a 2.5 grade point average. There will be one Legislator from each row in the classroom. There must be a 4/6 vote of the legislators to impeach the president. Legislators shall be paid the sum of one Homework pass per term. 4/6 legislators must vote in favor of a bill before it becomes a law. The president may veto a bill, create a bill, and if there is a tie in a congress vote then the president shall break the tie with one vote.
Article ll: Executive Branch
The President shall be able to run for a total of two terms. Each term shall consist of a total of 2 weeks.The president shall be chosen by a vote of the classroom. The election shall take a total of 1 weeks which equals half of a presidents term. The nominee for president must be at least 13 years old to run for president. The president shall be paid a total of one homework pass for each term he/she runs.
Article lll: Judicial Branch
The president may chose who he/she wants to nominated to be judges but, the people must vote if they want he/she to become a judge.
Once chosen, judges may only serve as a judge for only 1 month. After that they may be able to be nominated by the president again but, they may not run ever again after that.
